We maxed the wall cabinetry to the ceiling while leaving extra room above the sink as a point of relief. The backsplash uses very light tones and translucent stone to lighten the space while suggesting depth. In the harlequin feature there are small ox blood-red tiles to pick up the cabernet wood finish and dark red highlights in the granite. The drawer-style dishwasher and smaller Blanco sink keep the scale petite, while the under-counter micro and toaster keep the counter space real estate free and clear. Hot and cold water dispenser. Floor was tiled in a pattern of grey porcelain to disappear elegantly while wearing well. |
